Please tell me, do you have a DoS protection in your DC on dedicated servers? Will you handle DoS attack of about 1 Gbit/s?
General protection from DoS attacks in data centers is used not on servers, but on central router, which acts as a boundary control device between the client server and tha otuside world. In our data-center we provide basic filtration of malicious and flood traffic on the level of network infrastructure core and main measures of protection from attacks are applied on boundary routers of backbone providers, which, on our request, filter serious «bombings» in cases of really big attacks. If necessary, we filter with BGP autonomous systems, under which there is an attack.
On customer request we connect to the server additional protective equipment to safe from attack. Such equipment may include Juniper SRX240-H and Juniper Netscreen 5400.
