Our equipment is placed in our own technical platform of the new professional data center, located in Odessa and built according to modern standards in 2012. Backup power system is based on UPS PowerWare, connected in an N +1 scheme and the group of industrial diesel generators with a total capacity of more than 250 kW
The air conditioning is organized on the principle of hot and cold aisles, which guarantees quality cooling of server equipment where it is really necessary.
Main power supply system is powered by two inputs from independent substations.
Server racks are placed in an enclosed pressurized zones that protects the server from external environmental influences and interference.
Power distribution for server racks is organized by APC controlled power outlets.
Internal wiring of electric networks is made by professional power engineers exclusively on conductive copper busbars and equipment of industry leader, the German company ABB.
The core of the data transfer is based on the Foundry BigIron router, which is widely applied in large data centers around the world.
Client's dedicated servers and web hosting servers are provided with an automated system of control and instant notification of staff and clients on detection of malicious scripts and all critical system parameters of the server.
Our support staff are qualified and experienced technicians. We practice a strict access control of personnel, and video recording of all actions.
The site will be equipped with modern gas fire extinguishing system, which, we hope, will not have to turn on.
Technical platform is equipped with monitoring systems with all necessary engineering parameters — temperature sensors, voltage, current and load.

Standard in providing reliable power supply is use of more than one electric inputs from independent substations. In UNIT-IS data center power is provided by two inputs with full control of electrical parameters in all parts of the circuit from the input to the consumer.
From the right choice of the type and parameters of electric wire depends reliability and efficiency of all electric network. For power supply of each node and aggregate of the UNIT-IS data center we chose wires and cables of ODESCABEL, which is well known for quality of it's products far beyond Ukraine.

Service of technical maintenance of the UNIT-IS data center provides round the clock monitoring of temperature and climatic indicators in enclosed pressurized zones and important DC componens with a system of digital sensors and controllers, that collects all data in one monitoring system.
The core of data center's data transfer is based on the Foundry BigIron router. We provide gigabit ports for client servers, data backup system, our total channels capacity is 10 Gbit/s.
Modular centralized architecture allows for more flexibility in configuring the network environment and protects the network from unauthorized activities. Data center is connected to the three independent transit operators, as well as included in the largest Ukrainian traffic exchange points UA-IX, Od-IX, DTEL-IX.
Network units of the UNIT-IS data center are implemented on Nortel Networks and Dell Force10 gigabit commutators. For independent services of data center we use autonomous virtual and physical networks. For connection of servers and network equipment we use high-speed 1/10 Gbit/s interfaces.
Server racks are placed in an enclosed pressurized zones. We use only rack-type servers and provide separate managed port for every client's server.
Each and every server server or device in the UNIT-IS data center has a separate IP-controlled electric port, allowing to power it on or off remotely. This function would be useful in the event of unforeseen failure of the system and the need of physical reboot.
All facilities of the UNIT-IS data center are equipped with video surveillance and recording, that provides enhanced security. At the request of a customer, installing equipment on colocation, we can mount a local CCTV for surveillance of multiple servers or entire server rack.
